You may remember Hannah from a few weeks back with her banana sushi recipe (YUM!), and she's here today to share a magical tip to including more veggies when it comes to making delicious summer smoothies.
There are so many Acai smoothie recipes out there, and I thought that I would
share a super simple one that includes a little hidden veggies (and best part is,
you really can’t taste them!). Also, pouring smoothie ingredients (pre-measured
for the younger ones) into the blender is a great way to get kids involved in the
Blend the following, and then pour in cup of choice:
1 pack of unsweetened Acai (we found our Acai berries at Whole Foods, Trader Joes,
1 frozen banana
1 cup of milk (we use almond milk)
¼ cup (or more if you’d like) of frozen cauliflower rice
1/4 cup of granola of choice
Put all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.
